Disable Terminal Bell Windows Git Bash

Disabling the Terminal Bell in the Windows version of Git Bash turned out to be a bit of a pain. Especially if you're like me, and you're going to immediately look at it from a UNIX perspective. How naive I was? In reality, Windows is the one controlling that bell/beep you hear every time you attempt a premature tab complete. I figured this out after taking a look into my volume mixer. The middle channel was the only one fluctuating . This was when I had my eureka moment. It was at this point that after a quick Google search, I landed on this page:  https://support2.microfocus.com/techdocs/1048.html . With a quick bit of assumption about their somewhat deprecated instructions, I was able to piece it together. Finally, here you go: Open Control Panel. Select Hardware and Sound. Select Sound.
